Production figures will always vary depending on the type, diameter, and length of wood you are cutting, what
cuts you are making (1”, 2” etc) and how dirty the wood is that you are trying to cut. This makes it very difficult
for any mobile sawmill manufacturer to supply really solid production stat's because they will always be variable
depending on several conditions, such as the length and diameter of logs you are using and the size of board you
are producing.
We are currently doing production trials on the sawmill and will soon publish the results. We are however
expecting a minimum of between 18,000 and 20,000 board feet in an 8 hour shift.
Production considerations include the saw sharpening which only takes 5 minutes and occurs roughly
every 3 hours, and maintenance requirements which through all of the trials and the operations have been
quite minimal.
